Do I need an account?
No. Use it right away with no sign-up. Open the whiteboard in your browser and start drawing.
Where is my work saved?
The current version runs in your browser — there is no cloud sync or account storage. To keep your work, use Download in the toolbar to save a PNG file.
Can I use sketches with AI tools?
Yes. That is one of the main reasons Memo Whiteboard stays lightweight. Draw a UI, character, or asset, download the PNG (or capture the screen), and attach the image to your AI chat or coding agent with a short prompt. A visual reference often helps the model follow your intent better than text alone — especially for layout and character shape.
How does QuickShape work?
In 2D mode, draw something shape-like, then hold still without releasing to snap it into a line, circle, ellipse, rectangle, triangle, and more. Release immediately to keep the freehand stroke. See the guide for details.
How do I select and copy shapes in 2D?
Double-click the edge of a stroke to select one shape. To select several at once, right-drag a rectangle over them. Then use Delete/Backspace or Cmd/Ctrl+C, V, and X for delete, copy, paste, and cut. Closed shapes are selected from the stroke edge, not from empty space inside the shape, so you can still draw inside them.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. Touch drawing and basic controls work on mobile. 3D gizmo and camera controls are easier with a keyboard.
Where can I learn the workflows?
Start with the articles hub for step-by-step tutorials (UI sketching, QuickShape, 2D selection, PNG export, 3D block-outs). The user guide lists controls and shortcuts.
Are ads on the site normal?
Ads such as Google AdSense may appear on content pages (for example Home, About, Guide, or FAQ) to support the service. The drawing app at /app/ is for sketching. See the privacy policy for ads and cookies.
